Account information
- Name and email address (from Google/Facebook or direct registration)
- Profile picture (optional)
- Industry and language preferences
Usage data
- Number of AI-generated texts per month
- Last login and activity
- Subscription status and payment history
- Anonymised usage statistics and feature usage (with consent)
Content you upload
- Company documents for AI training (optional)
- Writing-style samples (optional)
- Texts you ask the AI to generate
3. Why we collect this information
We process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contract: To deliver the AI services you have purchased
- Legitimate interest: To improve the service and provide technical support
- Consent: For marketing and advanced analytics (only if you consent)
4. Who we share information with
We only share information when necessary:
- OpenAI: For AI text generation (anonymised content)
- Stripe: For secure payment processing
- AWS: For secure data storage in the EU/Norway
- MongoDB Atlas: For database services
- PostHog: For product analytics (only with consent, EU storage)
- Google Analytics: For website statistics (only with consent)
We never sell personal information to third parties for marketing.
5. How long we keep information
- Active accounts: While the account is active
- Closed accounts: 30 days for recovery, then deleted
- Accounting records: 5 years (legal requirement)
- Marketing data: Until you withdraw consent
- Analytics data: 26 months (automatic deletion)
